Swati Vig is a professional makeup artist and hair stylist residing in Northern Virginia. She has seven years of work experience with traditional Indian, Pakistani, Afghani and American brides. Swati has worked at several salons in the surrounding Washington, D.C. area. Each experience has advanced her skills to provide you with only the very best.
She is vibrant and her work reflects that along with her maturity and understanding of her client’s needs! Like most little girls, playing dress-up was one of Swati’s passion. She pursued her passion and became a certified Cosmetologist at the age of 17 and further went to Virginia Commonwealth University to pursue her Bachelors in Marketing, graduating from the VCU School of Business in 2012. After her graduation, Swati followed her dreams by continuing education for cosmetology and earned her certification with Dressyourface along with training in many different color lines as L’Oreal, Wella, Gold Well, and Schwarzkopf professionals. All these experiences enabled her to become the owner of Salon SBS by the age of 25.

Reeti Vig, the sister of our Entrepuer, is an important asset of our SBS team. She manages all business aspects and operations of the Salon SBS. She is also highly involved in the training of our makeup artistry for all occasions. To supplement her skill set, she possesses valid certifications through MAC, Sephora and Dressyourface for makeup artistry to further provide for our clientele needs.
Reeti has an impressive resume of previous work experiences with different accounting firms and as a freelance makeup artist. All this encompasses in making her an essential part of our SBS team and enhancing what she has to offer our clientele pool. She always had and will have a passion for different forms of art but becoming a freelance makeup artist has turned her passion into a career path. To turn her passion and dreams into a reality Reeti decided to join our SBS team in hopes to grow and to take Salon SBS to different heights.
Salon SBS is owned and run by highly successful well-seasoned and experienced master stylists. Swati Vig and Reeti Luthra is a sister team working towards their dream of being small business entrepreneurs.
Salon SBS was established in May 2015 to serve the DMV area for all hair and make up needs as well as bridal hair styles and bridal make up.
No matter what the occasion, Swati and Reeti can enhance your natural beauty to make you feel truly glamorous and confident. They have catered to bridal, prom, homecoming, HD photography, and casual makeup and hair styling.
